When he reached Underhill Pass, he was greeted by a giant wooden sign with the settlement name written on it. Looking around, though, he couldn’t see a settlement. All he saw was an expansive, rock-strewn plain. There were no buildings, no people, nothing. Has Grommet screwed me over? Maybe I shouldn’t have trusted him.

As he looked around, he felt a gentle tugging sensation in his mind that he’d come to know was his Dungeoneering skill at work. He walked toward the giant settlement sign. There, next to it, he saw that there was a giant hole in the ground. It had been hidden by a small hill at first, but it there was no missing it now. It looked like the mouth of a cave cut into the ground. A series of spiraled stone steps led down, and there were torches fastened to the stone walls. An amber glow lit the steps.
